- 1 envelope (1.5 oz / 42 g) onion soup mix
- 6 cups water (1.4 L / 48 oz), more if desired
- 1 (8 oz / 227 g) can tomato sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce (15 ml / 0.5 oz)
- 1 (15 oz / 425 g) can diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 (15 oz / 425 g) can corn, drained
- 1 cup celery, sliced (100 g / 3.5 oz)
- 1/4 cup celery leaves, coarsely chopped (15 g / 0.5 oz)
- 1 cup fresh carrot, sliced (120 g / 4 oz)
- 1 cup white potato, peeled and cut into small cubes (150 g / 5 oz)
- Garlic salt, to taste
