Mini Cherry Cheese Danishes

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry sheet and cut it into 3-inch (7.5 cm) squares.
  3. Arrange the pastry squares on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  5. Place a small spoonful of the cream cheese mixture in the center of each puff pastry square.
  6. Top each square with one or two chopped cherries.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 15–20 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and puffed.
  8. Allow the danishes to cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
