Instructions
- In a bowl, combine melted butter, warm milk, dry yeast, sugar, and eggs. Mix well.
- Add wheat flour in two parts; add the second part along with the salt.
- Knead until the dough is smooth and elastic. Cover and let rise for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
- Punch down the dough to release air and divide into two portions.
- Roll and stretch each portion, then place in a greased loaf pan. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes, or until tripled in size.
- Brush the top with a mixture of egg yolk and 1 teaspoon of milk. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 25 minutes.
