Ingredients
Pastry:

- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml / 0.5 fl oz) calvados (apple brandy)
- ⅔ cup (70 g / 2.5 oz) ground almonds
- 2 tablespoons (16 g / 0.5 oz) all-purpose flour
Filling & Topping:
- 4 medium sweet apples, peeled, cored, halved, and thinly sliced
- 1 teaspoon (4 g / 0.14 oz) white sugar for decoration
- ¼ cup (60 ml / 2 fl oz) apricot jelly
