Tiramisu with Lemon

Ingredients
For the Lemon Syrup
- 150 g (⅔ cup) water
- 120 g (½ cup + 1 tbsp) sugar
- Zest of 1 lemon
- Juice of 1 lemon
For the Lemon Curd
- 110 g (½ cup) fresh lemon juice
- 15 g (1½ tbsp) cornstarch
- 2 eggs
- 100 g (½ cup) sugar
- 60 g (¼ cup) unsalted butter
For the Mascarpone Cream
- 250 g (1 cup) mascarpone cheese
- 200 ml (¾ cup + 2 tbsp) heavy cream, chilled
- 60 g (¼ cup) sugar
- 1 tsp (5 ml) vanilla extract
- 1 tsp lemon zest
For Assembly
- 200 g (about 20–24 pieces) ladyfinger biscuits (savoiardi)
- Lemon syrup (prepared earlier)
- Lemon curd (prepared earlier)
- Optional garnish: whipped cream, lemon zest curls, or mint leaves
