• ¼ cup brown sugar (~50 g)
• 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (~2 g)
• ½ teaspoon nutmeg (~1 g)
• 1 teaspoon cornstarch dissolved in 1 tablespoon water
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (~5 ml)
Cheesecake Filling:
• 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
• ¼ cup powdered sugar (~30 g)
• ½ teaspoon vanilla extract (~2.5 ml)
For the Pies:
• 10–12 small pie crust rounds (4–5 inches / 10–12 cm)
• 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
• Oil for frying (vegetable or canola)
Glaze:
• 1 cup powdered sugar (~120 g)
• 2–3 tablespoons milk (~30–45 ml)
• ½ teaspoon vanilla extract (~2.5 ml)
