Directions
- In a small bowl, mix together ketchup, sugar, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce. Set aside.
- Dissolve cornstarch in 1 tablespoon of soy sauce and toss the beef strips in the mixture to coat. Set aside.
- In a skillet, combine garlic, sliced bell peppers, and ¼ cup water. Cook over medium heat until the water evaporates. The peppers may still appear slightly crisp; this is okay. Remove and set aside.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in the same skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the beef strips until lightly seared and cooked through.
- Add the cooked peppers, pineapple tidbits, and prepared sauce to the skillet. Stir to coat all ingredients evenly.
- Cook for 2–3 minutes until everything is heated through and the sauce slightly thickens.
- Serve immediately over steamed rice or your choice of side.
