Instructions
- Combine all dry ingredients in a small bowl or a ¼-liter Ziploc bag. Seal and shake to mix thoroughly.
- Generously coat each side of the ribeye steak with the spice mixture. Let the steak rest for 40 minutes. This allows the salt to penetrate, tenderize the meat, and help reabsorb its natural juices.
- Preheat the grill or a heavy skillet until very hot.
- Place the steak on the grill or skillet. Cook for 4–5 minutes on the first side until brown and slightly charred.
- Flip the steak and continue cooking according to desired doneness:
- +5 minutes: Medium Rare
- +7 minutes: Medium
- +10 minutes: Well Done
- Remove the steak and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing to retain juices. Serve hot.
