Oven Fried Chicken Legs

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and thyme.
  3. In another bowl, whisk egg and milk together.
  4. Place breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
  5. Pat chicken legs dry, coat in flour mixture, dip in egg mixture, then coat evenly with breadcrumbs.
  6. Place chicken legs on prepared baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil.
  7. Bake for 35–45 minutes, turning halfway, until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 75°C (165°F).
  8. Remove from oven, let rest 5 minutes, then serve hot.
