Directions
- Preheat oven. Set oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine ingredients. In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, milk, egg, bread pieces, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder (or chopped onion), salt, mustard, black pepper, hot sauce, and garlic powder. Mix until evenly combined, but avoid overmixing to keep the meatloaf tender.
- Shape loaf. Spread the mixture into an ungreased loaf pan, or shape it into a loaf on a sheet pan.
- Add ketchup glaze. Spread ketchup evenly over the top of the meatloaf.
- Bake. Place the meatloaf in the preheated oven and cook for 60–75 minutes, or until a meat thermometer inserted in the center reads 160°F (71°C).
- Rest. Remove from the oven and let the meatloaf stand for 5 minutes before slicing.
- Serve. Slice into portions and serve warm with your favorite sides.
