Noodles Bolognese

Directions

  1. Cook noodles according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet or saucepan over medium heat. Sauté onion, garlic, carrot, and celery until softened, about 5–7 minutes.
  3. Add ground meat and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.
  4. Stir in tomato paste, crushed tomatoes, and broth. Mix well.
  5. Add oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 20–30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Adjust seasoning if needed. If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of water or broth.
  7. Toss cooked noodles with the sauce or serve the sauce over the noodles.
  8. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese if desired and serve hot.
