Directions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Season Chicken: Pat chicken thighs dry and season generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Sear Chicken: In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add chicken thighs, skin-side down, and cook until golden brown, about 5–6 minutes. Flip and sear the other side for 2–3 minutes.
- Bake: Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Rest Chicken: Remove chicken from the skillet and transfer to a plate. Cover with foil to keep warm.
- Prepare Sauce: Place the skillet back on the stove over medium heat. Add butter and minced garlic; cook 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add Liquids: Stir in chicken broth and lemon juice, bringing the mixture to a simmer. Cook for 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Serve: Pour the lemon garlic butter sauce over the chicken thighs. Garnish with lemon slices and chopped parsley. Serve hot and enjoy!
