Directions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Spray a 12×8-inch (2-quart) glass baking dish with cooking spray.
- Place frozen pierogies and water in a medium microwave-safe bowl; cover with plastic wrap. Microwave on High for 2 minutes, stir, then continue microwaving 1 1/2 to 2 minutes until thawed. Arrange pierogies evenly in the prepared baking dish. Top with sliced kielbasa.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together cream cheese, sour cream, chicken broth, and black pepper until smooth. Stir in 1/2 cup of the shredded Cheddar cheese and 1/3 cup of the green onions (reserve remaining onions for topping).
- Pour the cream cheese mixture evenly over the pierogies and sausage. Cover with foil and bake 22–27 minutes, or until the center is heated through and reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Remove foil, top with remaining Cheddar cheese, and bake 3–5 minutes more until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Sprinkle reserved green onions on top before serving.
