Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350ºF (175ºC). Spray a 9×13 inch (23×33 cm) baking dish with cooking spray or grease it with butter.
- Open the tube of crescent dough and unroll it with the longest side at the bottom (forming a rectangle). Pinch seams closed and lightly press out the dough to approximately 10×13 inches (25×33 cm).
- Lay 6 slices of Swiss cheese on the dough, leaving a 1/4 inch (0.6 cm) margin at the edges.
- Top the cheese with the Black Forest ham slices, folding them over if necessary, and then place the remaining cheese slices on top of the ham.
- Starting with the longest side, roll up the dough as tightly as possible to encase the ham and cheese. Pinch the ends closed to seal.
- Cut the rolled dough into 18 equal pieces and carefully place them in the prepared baking dish, spacing evenly and pinching any separated seams.
- In a small bowl, mix together melted butter, poppy seeds, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Pour this mixture evenly over the rolls.
- Bake, uncovered, for 20–25 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly before serving.
