Garlic Butter Shrimp

Directions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and melt the butter until it begins to foam.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant and lightly golden, being careful not to burn it.
  3. Add the shrimp to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for 2–3 minutes per side until the shrimp turn pink and opaque. Avoid overcooking, as shrimp can become rubbery.
  4. Sprinkle in the paprika, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and black pepper. Stir to coat the shrimp evenly.
  5. Pour the fresh lemon juice over the shrimp and stir gently to combine. Allow the shrimp to cook for an additional 1–2 minutes so the flavors meld.
  6. Remove the skillet from heat and transfer the shrimp to a serving dish.
  7. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.
