Delicious Chicken and Green Onion Stir-Fry

Directions

  1. Prep ingredients: Slice chicken, chop green onions, and mince garlic and ginger. Quick prep ensures smooth stir-fry since cooking is fast.
  2. Make the sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, honey, cornstarch, and water until smooth. Set aside.
  3. Cook the chicken: Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add chicken strips in a single layer and stir-fry 4–5 minutes until lightly golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  4. Cook aromatics: Add remaining tablespoon of oil to the pan. Stir-fry garlic and ginger for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Add green onions: Toss in green onions and cook 1–2 minutes until just tender but still vibrant.
  6. Combine and finish: Return chicken to the pan and pour the sauce over everything. Stir continuously until sauce thickens and coats chicken and green onions, about 1–2 minutes. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  7. Serve: Garnish with toasted sesame seeds and extra green onions. Serve immediately.
