Ingredients

  • ¾ cup Elmlea double cream (≈ 180 ml / 6 fl oz)
  • 100 g shredded cheddar cheese (≈ 3.5 oz)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Filling

  • 200 g back bacon, chopped (≈ 7 oz)
  • 150 g fresh baby spinach (≈ 5.3 oz)
  • ½ cup shredded carrots (≈ 60 g / 2 oz)
  • 2 spring onions, sliced
  • Extra shredded cheddar cheese for topping

Cooking

  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for cooking spinach)
  • Butter, for greasing pie dish
