Instructions
- Prepare the sauce and meatballs:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large bowl, combine the tomato sauce with 3 tsp Italian seasoning and 1 tsp garlic powder. Add the halved meatballs and stir until they are well coated. Set aside. - Prepare the rolls:
Remove the rolls from the packaging but do not separate them. Cut the whole bundle of rolls in half horizontally, leaving the bottom half slightly thicker than the top half. Place the bottom halves in a 13 × 9-inch baking dish, cut side up. - Assemble the sandwiches:
Layer the provolone cheese over the bottom halves of the rolls. Spoon the meatballs and sauce evenly over the cheese, then sprinkle with the grated mozzarella. Place the top halves of the rolls cut side down over the mozzarella layer. - Add the garlic butter:
Mix the melted butter with the remaining seasoning (1 tsp Italian seasoning + 2 tsp garlic powder). Brush this mixture over the tops of the rolls. - Bake:
Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the sandwiches are heated through and the cheese is melted and bubbly. - Serve:
Remove from the oven and serve warm. Pull apart to enjoy gooey, cheesy meatball goodness in every bite!
