Butter Shrimp

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan or skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and chopped onion. Sauté until the onion becomes soft and translucent and the garlic is fragrant, about 2–3 minutes.
  3. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Stir to combine the flavors.
  4. Add the cleaned shrimp to the pan. Cook for 3–5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the shrimp turn pink and lightly golden. Do not overcook, or the shrimp may become rubbery.
  5. Remove the pan from heat and sprinkle fresh chopped coriander over the shrimp. Stir gently to incorporate.
  6. Serve the butter shrimp immediately, warm, with steamed rice, crusty bread, or a simple salad.
