Banana Cake

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a blender or mixing bowl, combine milk, eggs, sugar, and oil. Blend or beat until smooth and well incorporated.
  3. Pour the wet mixture into a large bowl. Gradually add the wheat flour and baking powder, stirring until the batter is smooth and free of lumps.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan. Smooth the top with a spatula.
  5. Arrange the banana slices on top of the batter. Sprinkle with caramel sugar and a light dusting of cinnamon and sugar, to taste.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 35–45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow the cake to cool slightly before slicing. Serve warm or at room temperature.
