Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a blender or mixing bowl, combine milk, eggs, sugar, and oil. Blend or beat until smooth and well incorporated.
- Pour the wet mixture into a large bowl. Gradually add the wheat flour and baking powder, stirring until the batter is smooth and free of lumps.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan. Smooth the top with a spatula.
- Arrange the banana slices on top of the batter. Sprinkle with caramel sugar and a light dusting of cinnamon and sugar, to taste.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35–45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool slightly before slicing. Serve warm or at room temperature.
