  • 240 ml (1 cup) whole milk
  • 120 ml (½ cup) boiling water

For the chocolate frosting:

  • 225 g (1 cup) unsalted butter, softened
  • 300 g (2½ cups) powdered sugar
  • 60 g (½ cup) unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 60 ml (¼ cup) heavy cream
  • 5 ml (1 tsp) vanilla extract

Optional decoration:

  • Chocolate shavings, sprinkles, or fresh berries
