Smoked Turkey and Green Bean Stew

Directions

  1. Place the smoked turkey legs into a large pot.
  2. Pour the broth or water over the turkey and turn heat to high.
  3. Cook the turkey until tender, then remove from the pot, leaving the liquid behind.
  4. Shred or dice the turkey meat, discarding bones and skin.
  5. Add green beans, shredded turkey, onions, and garlic to the pot with the liquid.
  6. Sprinkle in seasoning salt and black pepper, and stir to combine.
  7. Cook for about 10 minutes, then add the chopped potatoes.
  8. Continue cooking until the potatoes and green beans are tender, adjusting cooking time to your preference.
  9. Serve hot with cornbread and enjoy!
