Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Steak Bites

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, vinegar, olive oil, and black pepper to create the sauce.
  2. Place the steak bites into the slow cooker and pour the sauce over them, making sure each piece is coated.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 2–3 hours, or until the steak is tender and infused with the sauce.
  4. About 15 minutes before serving, mix cornstarch with water to make a slurry. Pour it into the slow cooker and stir gently to thicken the sauce. Cover and cook for the remaining time.
  5. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. The sauce should be glossy, slightly sticky, and perfectly balanced between sweet and savory.
  6. Serve the steak bites over cooked rice, mashed potatoes, or steamed vegetables. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
