Directions

- Place the steak bites into the slow cooker and pour the sauce over them, making sure each piece is coated.
- Cover and cook on low for 2–3 hours, or until the steak is tender and infused with the sauce.
- About 15 minutes before serving, mix cornstarch with water to make a slurry. Pour it into the slow cooker and stir gently to thicken the sauce. Cover and cook for the remaining time.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. The sauce should be glossy, slightly sticky, and perfectly balanced between sweet and savory.
- Serve the steak bites over cooked rice, mashed potatoes, or steamed vegetables. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
