- 1 lb (450 g) lean ground beef
- 3 mild Italian sausages, out of casing or ground
- ½ yellow onion, chopped
- ½ red bell pepper, chopped
- ½ green bell pepper, chopped
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 jars (about 48 oz / 1.4 L) of your favorite pasta sauce
- Chopped curly parsley, for garnish
- Italian seasoning, to taste
