Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (392°F). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Roll out the puff pastry sheet and cut it into 4 equal rectangles.
- On each rectangle, make several vertical cuts about 1/3 of the way into the pastry, leaving the edges intact. Brush the pastry lightly with melted butter.
- Fold each rectangle horizontally, pressing gently along the edges so the cuts stay on top. Lay the folded pastry on the baking tray with the cut side facing down.
- Spoon about 1–2 tablespoons of hazelnut cream into the center of each pastry. Fold over the dough diagonally to form a triangle, pressing edges gently to seal.
- Brush each triangle with milk and sprinkle a little granulated sugar over the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, until the pastry is puffed and golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
