Pecan Pie Dump Cake
A ridiculously easy, crowd-pleasing dessert that combines the rich flavors of pecan pie with the simplicity of a dump cake. Perfect served warm with ice cream or whipped cream!
Ingredients
1 (15.25 oz) package yellow cake mix (do not prepare according to box directions)
1 (21 oz) can pecan pie filling
Optional homemade filling:
1 ½ cups chopped pecans, 1 cup corn syrup, ½ cup packed brown sugar, ⅓ cup melted butter, 2 large eggs, 1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup chopped pecans (optional, for extra crunch)
1 ½ sticks (¾ cup) unsalted butter, melted
½ cup milk (whole or 2%)
