This recipe calls for very few ingredients as far as spices go. I have included measurements for the salt, pepper, garlic powder, and minced onion. You may prefer more or less of any of the spices I have included.

There is a good way to test the spices when you are making a ground meat recipe. Take a little bit of the meat, about a bite size, then fry it up in a skillet. This way you can taste the meat with the seasonings and add more if you think that it is under seasoned.

If you are new to cooking, this is a great way to figure out how heavy handed to be with your spices and herbs.

Bring it to the party separate from the buns and toppings, then melt the cheese on the burger patty when you get to there and assemble it after I arrived.
