The Big Mac Meat
I use 85% lean ground beef for this recipe, but you can use a more affordable ground meat if you choose. You will have to use paper towels to blot some of the grease off the top and bottom of the meat after it is cooked.
Additionally if you use a 75% fat ground beef, you will see that the meat shrinks a little bit more than the more lean beef. If you do not eat beef, you can substitute ground turkey for the beef in these Mini Big Mac Cheeseburgers.
To be clear, I have not used ground turkey but I think you would still enjoy the flavor of these cheeseburgers if you opt for it. Remember when you flatten the meat on the cookie sheet to make it a little larger than the buns. You want to make sure that you have enough to cover the entire bun through the shrinking of the meat.

The Cheese In The Mini Big Mac Cheeseburgers
For this recipe I use the kraft cheese singles. To me, this is the best cheese for this burger.
It melts perfectly and it gives the Mini Big Mac Cheeseburgers the same flavor as McDonalds although I am not sure that this is the same cheese that McDonalds uses.
