Directions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (360°F). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Cut the puff pastry sheet into two equal parts. Sprinkle each part evenly with sugar and lemon zest.
- Bake the puff pastry for 15 minutes, or until golden brown and crisp. Remove from the oven and let cool completely.
- In a mixing bowl, combine Greek yogurt, whipped cream, lemon zest, and sugar. Whip gently until smooth and creamy. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
- Once the puff pastry has cooled, place one sheet on a serving plate. Spread half of the yogurt lemon cream evenly over the surface.
- Cover with the second sheet of puff pastry. Top with the remaining cream, spreading it evenly.
- Optionally, garnish with additional lemon zest or a dusting of powdered sugar before serving.
- Chill the assembled Milhojas in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before slicing and serving to allow the cream to set slightly.
