Layered Summer Fruit Salad

Directions

  1. Wash and prepare all fruits as needed—slice strawberries, peel and segment kiwis and mandarins, slice bananas, dice pineapple, and halve grapes.
  2. In a large clear glass bowl or trifle dish, start layering the fruits. Begin with a layer of strawberries at the bottom, followed by blueberries, raspberries, kiwi, mandarin oranges, bananas, pineapple, and grapes. Repeat layers as needed to fill the bowl.
  3. Sprinkle chopped fresh mint leaves between layers for a refreshing aroma and flavor.
  4. If using, drizzle honey over the top layer to add extra sweetness.
  5. Optional: Spoon vanilla yogurt over each layer or create a final topping of yogurt for a creamy touch.
  6. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
  7. Serve chilled, scooping generous portions into bowls or cups.
