Jurassic Chicken Nibbles

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Alternatively, preheat your air fryer to 390°F (200°C).
  2. In a shallow bowl, mix the flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Place the beaten eggs in a second shallow bowl. Place the panko breadcrumbs in a third shallow bowl.
  4. Dip each chicken piece first into the seasoned flour, shaking off any excess, then into the eggs, and finally coat with panko breadcrumbs. Press gently to ensure the crumbs adhere.
  5. Arrange the coated chicken pieces on the prepared baking sheet or in the air fryer basket in a single layer, leaving space between them.
  6. Oven method: Bake for 15–20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is golden and cooked through.
  7. Air fryer method: Cook for 12–15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway, until crispy and fully cooked.
  8. While the chicken cooks, prepare the dipping sauce by mixing mayonnaise, ketchup, Dijon mustard, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
  9. Remove chicken from the oven or air fryer and let cool for a few minutes. Serve immediately with the dipping sauce.
