Directions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet or pan over medium heat.
- Add the sausages and cook until browned on all sides, about 8–10 minutes. Remove from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add the sliced bell peppers and onions. Sauté for 5–7 minutes until softened and slightly caramelized.
- Sprinkle with garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
- Slice the sausages and return them to the pan with the peppers and onions. Cook for another 5–7 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
- Garnish with fresh basil or parsley if desired. Serve hot with crusty bread, hoagie rolls, or enjoy on its own.
