Directions

  1. Lay a slice of brioche bread flat and spread a generous layer of hazelnut cream over it.
  2. Roll the slice tightly into a cylinder. Repeat with the remaining slices.
  3. In a shallow bowl, whisk together the egg and milk until fully combined.
  4. Dip each rolled brioche into the egg and milk mixture, coating all sides evenly.
  5. Heat butter in a nonstick pan over medium heat until melted and bubbling.
  6. Place the rolls seam-side down in the pan and cook for about 2 minutes per side, until golden brown and crisp.
  7. Remove from the pan and let them cool slightly. Dust with powdered sugar. Serve warm and enjoy the melty hazelnut center.
