Directions

- Spread the mushrooms in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, caps facing up if using large mushrooms. Do not overcrowd the pan.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Avoid opening the oven while roasting to ensure the mushrooms develop a rich golden color.
- Once roasted, remove the mushrooms from the oven. If using, drizzle with fresh lemon juice and sprinkle with thyme leaves for added freshness and aroma.
- Serve immediately as a side dish, atop polenta, pasta, or even as a main for a light vegetarian meal.
