Easy Oven Baked Ribs

Directions

  1. Preheat oven. Set oven to 300°F (150°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and lightly spray with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Prepare ribs. Lay ribs on the prepared baking sheet, bony side down. Score any tough membranes along the bone with a knife.
  3. Season ribs. Rub ribs generously with the grill seasoning. Cover with a second layer of foil and crimp the edges to seal.
  4. Bake slowly. Place ribs in the oven and bake for 2–2½ hours, until the meat is tender and easily pulls away from the bone.
  5. Apply BBQ sauce. Remove ribs from the oven. Brush one side with BBQ sauce and broil for 2–3 minutes until the sauce begins to caramelize.
  6. Flip and baste. Turn ribs over, baste the other side with BBQ sauce, and broil again for 2–3 minutes.
  7. Finish and serve. Remove ribs from the oven, add additional BBQ sauce if desired, cut into individual portions, and serve hot.
