Crockpot Chicken and Stuffing

Instructions

  1. Spray the inside of your crockpot with non-stick cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  2. Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of the crockpot, arranging them evenly.
  3. Sprinkle the stuffing mix over the chicken, covering it completely.
  4. In a medium bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup and sour cream until smooth. Pour evenly over the stuffing and chicken.
  5. Add a layer of frozen green beans on top for color and added nutrition.
  6. Pour 1 cup of water over the mixture to ensure the stuffing stays moist during cooking.
  7. Cover and cook on high for 4 hours or low for 7–8 hours. The chicken should be tender, and the stuffing light and fluffy.
  8. Check the chicken with a meat thermometer—it should reach 74°C (165°F). Fluff the stuffing gently before serving.
