Directions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, add the softened cream cheese. Using a hand mixer or spatula, beat until smooth and creamy with no lumps.
  2. Add the sour cream, mayonnaise, lemon juice, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix until fully combined and silky, scraping down the sides of the bowl as needed. The base should look smooth and slightly fluffy.
  3. Taste the mixture and adjust seasoning if needed. A small pinch of salt can be added, but remember the bacon will add saltiness later.
  4. Transfer the creamy base to a serving dish or shallow bowl and spread it evenly using a spatula.
  5. Sprinkle the crumbled bacon evenly over the top, making sure every scoop will get some crispy goodness.
  6. Spoon the chopped tomatoes over the bacon layer, spreading them gently so they don’t sink into the dip.
  7. Just before serving, scatter the shredded lettuce on top to keep it fresh and crisp.
  8. If using optional garnishes, finish with shredded cheddar cheese and green onions for extra color and flavor.
