Ingredients

→ Seafood and Protein

  • 01 4 salmon fillets, skinless, about 6 oz each
  • 02 1/2 cup cooked shrimp, chopped
  • 03 1/2 cup lump crab meat

→ Dairy

  • 04 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 05 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

→ Condiments and Seasonings

  • 06 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 07 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 08 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 09 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 10 Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 11 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 12 1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)

→ Cooking Oil

  • 13 Olive oil for brushing

Instructions

Step 01

Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with foil and lightly grease it.

Step 02

In a medium bowl, combine chopped shrimp, crab meat, cream cheese, mozzarella, mayonnaise, mustard, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, salt, pepper, lemon juice, and parsley. Mix until smooth.

Step 03

Using a sharp knife, cut a slit down the center of each salmon fillet to create a pocket, being careful not to cut all the way through.

Step 04

Stuff each fillet generously with the seafood mixture.

Step 05

Place the stuffed salmon on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops lightly with olive oil.

Step 06

Bake for 18–20 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Step 07

Optional: Broil for 1–2 minutes at the end to brown the top slightly.

Step 08

Serve warm with lemon wedges or a side salad.

Notes

  1. Using softened cream cheese ensures the filling is smooth and easy to mix.
  2. Broiling at the end adds an extra golden brown finish to the dish.
