- Decorate and garnish. Dollop or spread the remaining whipped topping over the cherries. Sprinkle the ½ cup of chopped pecans evenly on top for added texture and a nutty crunch.
- Chill and serve. Refrigerate the layered cheesecake for at least 2 hours to let it set fully before slicing. Cut into squares or rectangles and serve chilled.
