Broccoli, Carrot, and Mushroom Stir-Fry

Instructions:

1. Start by preparing your vegetables. Rinse the broccoli florets and slice the carrot thinly on the diagonal for an appealing presentation. Also, slice the mushrooms for added texture.
2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large non-stick skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Ensure the oil is hot but not smoking.
3. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger to the skillet, stirring quickly for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Be careful not to burn them.
4. Toss in the sliced carrots first, cooking for about 2 minutes until they become tender but still crisp.
5. Next, add the broccoli florets and sliced mushrooms to the skillet. Stir continuously for about 4-5 minutes, allowing the vegetables to sauté evenly.
6. Drizzle the soy sauce over the vegetables, mixing well to coat them thoroughly. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir-fry for an additional 2 minutes to let the flavors meld.
7. Remove from heat and serve your colorful stir-fry immediately, whether on its own or over steamed rice or noodles for a heartier meal.
