BBQ Bacon Wrapped Shrimp

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange the bacon in a single layer on a sheet pan and bake for 7–8 minutes until partially cooked. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  2. Once cooled, cut each bacon strip in half. Wrap a piece of bacon around each shrimp and place them seam side down on a clean baking sheet.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the BBQ sauce, honey, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce to make the glaze.
  4. Bake the shrimp for 7–8 minutes. Remove from the oven and brush the shrimp with the prepared glaze. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes.
  5. Turn on the broiler. Brush the shrimp with glaze one more time and broil for 3–4 minutes until the glaze is caramelized and slightly sticky.
  6. Serve immediately, while warm, for maximum flavor and crispiness.
