Instructions
- Preheat the oven. Set your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly coat it with cooking spray.
- Mix the ingredients. In a large mixing bowl, combine the hash browns, sausage, Bisquick mix, shredded cheddar, and softened cream cheese. Mix until all ingredients are fully incorporated. You can use a dough hook attachment on a stand mixer for ease.
- Form the balls. Using a tablespoon or small ice cream scoop, portion the mixture and roll into balls. Place them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving a little space between each ball.
- Bake. Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the sausage is fully cooked.
- Cool and serve. Allow the hashbrown balls to cool for a few minutes before serving. They’re delicious on their own or paired with your favorite dipping sauce, such as ketchup, salsa, or spicy aioli.
