- ½ large onion, chopped
- 1 bell pepper, chopped

- 3 ½ cups (840 ml) beef broth or water
- 2 cans (15 oz / 425 g each) tomato sauce
- 1 can (10 oz / 285 g) fire-roasted Rotel tomatoes (optional)
- 1 cup corn (fresh, frozen, or canned)
- 2 cups (200 g) elbow pasta
- A few dashes Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 cup (100 g) freshly grated American cheese
