- • 400 g canned chopped tomatoes (14 oz)
- • 250 ml beef or chicken broth (1 cup)
- • 125 ml red wine (optional, ½ cup)
- • Salt and black pepper, to taste
- • Pinch of sugar (optional, to balance acidity)

- • 400 g spaghetti (14 oz)
