- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the Frosting:
- ½ cup (2 oz) German chocolate, chopped
- ¼ cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
