• Salt – ½ teaspoon
• Whole milk or buttermilk – 240 ml (1 cup)
• Large eggs – 2
• Unsalted butter, melted – 85 g (6 tablespoons)
• Honey – 60 ml (¼ cup)
• Vegetable oil, for frying or greasing

For the Honey Butter Glaze

• Unsalted butter – 57 g (4 tablespoons)
• Honey – 60 ml (¼ cup)
• Pinch of salt
