Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the Korean red pepper paste, sesame oil, honey, minced garlic, and grated ginger to create a smooth marinade.
  2. Add the chicken pieces to the marinade and massage them until fully coated. Let the chicken sit for 15 minutes at room temperature to absorb the flavors.
  3. Heat a frying pan over medium heat and add ½ tablespoon sesame oil.
  4. Cook the marinated chicken in the pan, turning occasionally, until fully cooked and nicely glazed, about 8–12 minutes depending on thickness.
  5. Serve hot over steamed rice and garnish with sesame seeds or sliced green onions if desired.
