Slow Cooker Honey Soy Chicken

Instructions

  1. In the slow cooker, mix together soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil.
  2. Add chicken drumsticks to the slow cooker and baste them with the sauce to coat evenly.
  3. Cook on low for 6–8 hours.
  4. Remove the chicken from the slow cooker and set aside.
  5. In a small bowl, combine cornstarch and water to form a smooth paste.
  6. Add the cornstarch mixture to the slow cooker and stir to combine with the sauce.
  7. Return the chicken to the slow cooker and cook on high for 15 minutes, or until the sauce thickens.
  8. Optional: For extra caramelization, baste the chicken with the sauce and place under a grill for a few minutes.
  9. Serve warm with rice, noodles, or vegetables.
