Slow Cooker Garlic Shrimp Pasta

Directions

  1. Spray the inside of your slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Add the butter, minced garlic, heavy cream, chicken broth, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and black pepper. Stir to combine.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 2 hours, stirring occasionally, until the sauce is heated through and fragrant.
  4. Add the uncooked pasta to the slow cooker, pushing it gently into the sauce. Cover and cook on low for an additional 30–40 minutes, or until the pasta is tender. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
  5. About 10 minutes before serving, add the shrimp, stirring gently to coat them in the sauce. Cover and cook until the shrimp turn pink and opaque, about 5–7 minutes.
  6. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, adjusting seasoning as needed. The sauce should be creamy and coat the pasta beautifully.
  7. Serve immediately, garnished with freshly chopped parsley and an extra sprinkle of Parmesan if desired.
