- Prepare the base. In a slow cooker, combine the cream of chicken soup, the chicken gravy mixes, and water. Whisk until smooth and well combined.
- Season. Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to taste. Stir again to evenly distribute the seasonings.
- Add the chicken. Place the chicken breasts on top of the soup and gravy mixture, ensuring they are mostly covered.
- Cook. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 8 hours, or on high for 4 hours, until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
- Add vegetables (optional). During the last hour of cooking, add fresh or frozen vegetables of your choice. Check for doneness if using fresh vegetables to avoid sogginess.
- Serve. Spoon the chicken and gravy over mashed potatoes, rice, or pasta for a complete and comforting meal.
